This first picture is of me pulling the ten cans of Coconut Milk out of the bottom shelf at Central Market.
I then decided to pose with the cans, which inspired this blog....
It was also slightly amusing that this was ALL of the coconut milk and cheese (of that brand) in Central Market...
Off to the Farmer's Market where we purchased ground beef. I believe we purchased around 10 pounds.
As well as three full chickens... not sure the poundage... but you can see below, these were not baby chickens...
However... we did also get several baby chickens... 48 to be exact. (I know they aren't actually fertilized eggs, thus not really baby chickens. Gosh, you're so technical.)
And lastly, but certainly not least...ly , we purchased the milk. 7 gallons of raw cow's milk.
So there you have it... shopping for the Madre. Twas quite a fun experience... not to mention people give you funny looks when you take pictures with your groceries inside the store. especially when you pose the way that I was.
I was also quite amused with my pregolant (copyright The Jeremy Brice Duncan Perspective inc.) wife's attitude toward the samples at Central Market. She treated them more like her own personal buffet.
However... the marketing paid off....
It was a good trip.
